weak, this orf has the same size of E.
coli colicin
(gi|116071|sp|P22522|CEAV_ECOLI) and
the first 15 aminoacids have strong
similarity with that protein. According
to sp|P22522 Swiss-Prot entry and
additional documentation, colicins are
well characterized by these 15
aminoacids conserved start sequence.
Neighbour orf XF-C13KB-GL09 is also a
putative Colicin V. Orf XF-C13KB-GL06,
although similar to the above orfs
(XF-C13KB-GL09 and XF-C13KB-GL10), was
categorized as hypothetical (check
XF-C13KB-GL06 remarks). A BlastP search
(with no filter) of Colicin V sequence
(sp|P22522|CEAV_ECOLI) against Xylella
genes shows that it matches this ORF
with an e-value of 5e-04
